UN-Habitat is working with hundreds of countries and cities around the world, providing information and helping to coordinate efforts at the urban level. But the availability and flow of information isn’t uniformly effective. The task of compiling basic data on local responses—across hundreds of countries, provinces, and cities—is a daunting one. This, despite the high significance of high resolution, reliable and real time data for the response and recovery processes.
And that’s where you can help. Linked you’ll find a simple questionnaire from UN-Habitat asking for information about the current situation in your city or neighborhood, the existing response measures and emerging impacts from the pandemic.
In aggregate, your answers to these questions—even if your response is “I don’t know”—will help paint a more accurate picture on what is happening in urban areas across the world.
